Description
I’ve been practicing vegan -organic growing on plot 48 at Sir John Stirling Maxwell Gardens for over 20 years.
Part of the plot is a mini forest garden.
I now share the plot with my son.
Rotating vegetable beds, greenhouse, perennials such Jerusalem artichokes, rhubarb, comfrey. Gooseberries, raspberries, red and black currants, Bramley cooking apple on dwarf rootstock.
There is usually an Open / Gala Day in early August. Check the society website https://sjsmallotments.co.uk/wp/
